LGBTQ+ Community Builder
As a board member and volunteer, I coordinated events for Elgin Pride, a non-profit serving the LGBTQ+ community. Between April 2022 and March 2025, I led over 75 Elgin Pride events. I also led the Community Outreach & Engagement committee to plan new events, support fellow volunteers, and identify areas of organizational growth. I am currently taking a breather from volunteering to curate my manuscript for Shapeshifter - my first poetry collection exploring LGBTQ+ identity, neurodiversity, and intersectionality.
